 I was thrilled to be shortlisted for the Young Artists of the Year show at TheBiscuit Factory, Newcastle. Amazing Winter exhibition there too, in particular loved Mark Rowney’s beautifully crafted, gorgeous leatherwork and stunning paintings, and such a lovely chap!

Mike Healey’s ‘Gardens of Persephone’ exhibition impressed also. Multi narratives and techniques created surreal, ‘stage set’ paintings. His works felt decadent, sumptuous, but not safe...ominous.
